ORDER: Petitioner's motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #3 is stricken as moot. Petitioner previously paid the five dollar filing fee. 4 . Petitioner's motion to stay these proceeding #5 is granted. The case is stayed pending the resolution of Petitioner's state court proceedings (through an appeal to the Supreme Court of Illinois). Petitioner shall notify the Court immediately upon the completion of his state court proceedings. Respondent shall not answer or otherwise respond to the habeas corpus petition at this time. Respondent's counsel shall file an appearance by 4/1/2019. The parties shall file a written status report detailing the status of Petitioner's state court proceedings by 5/13/2019. The Clerk shall: (1) terminate Respondent Walter Nicholson from the docket; (2) add Sherwin Miles, Acting Warden, Stateville Correctional Center as Respondent; and, (3) alter the case caption to McKinney v.
