Filing 12 ORDER: Plaintiff's application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #6 is granted. The Court waives the initial partial filing fee and orders the trust fund officer at Plaintiff's place of incarceration to continue making monthly deductions in accordance with this order. The Court strikes the original complaint #1 and grants Plaintiff's petition to amend his complaint #7 to the extent that the Court will review the amended complaint. Nonetheless, the amended complaint cannot proceed. The Court dismisses Plaintiff's amended complaint #8 without prejudice for misjoinder of claims but gives him permission to amend his pleading. If Plaintiff fails to submit a proposed second amended complaint by October 16, 2023, the Court will dismiss this lawsuit. The Clerk is directed to send Plaintiff an amended civil rights complaint form and instructions, as well as a copy of this order, at Stateville Correctional Center under the inmate number in the caption of this order. Plaintiff must promptly update his address with the Court if he intends to proceed with this case. Failure to do so may result in dismissal. Signed by the Honorable Franklin U.
