March 24, 2020 Opinion or Order Filing 4 ORDER : Petitioner, a prisoner at the United States Penitentiary at Thomson, Illinois, has filed a 28 U.S.C. 2241 petition challenging his 2014 guilty-plea conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm under 18 U.S.C. 922(g). By April 24, 2020, petitioner must: (1) resolve the filing fee requirement, either by paying the $5.00 fee with a check or money order made payable to the Clerk of Court, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, or by submitting a completed IFP application; and (2) submit an amended 2241 petition on this court's formhe may include his original petition as a memorandum attached to the form petition.
