Filing 5 ORDER to Show Cause: This habeas corpus case is limited to Petitioner's claim that the Bureau of Prisons is wrongfully denying him credit towards his sentence earned under the First Step Act of 2018. Petitioner shall show cause by December 28, 2023, why this claim should not be dismissed for failure to exhaust his prison grievance process. Failure to respond to this show cause order by that date will result in the Court considering the exhaustion issue without the benefit of his response. Petitioner's remaining claim challenging the validity of his immigration proceedings is dismissed for want of subject matter jurisdiction. 8 U.S.C. 1252(a)(5). See the attached Order for details.
