On September 8, 2023, Plaintiff filed a motion to intervene (Doc. 1), asking the Court to intervene in an IDOC PREA investigation. The Court does not usually interfere in the normal day-to-day operations of the prison, including internal investigations. Westerfer v. Neal, 682 F.3d 679, 683 (7th Cir. 2012). It is also not clear to the Court that Plaintiff intended his motion to serve as a Complaint. Plaintiff failed to file a Complaint. Plaintiff has until October 2, 2023 to inform the Court whether or not he intended to file a Complaint and to submit a formal Complaint for review. If Plaintiff did not intend to file a formal Complaint, the Court will close the case. His motion to intervene (Doc. 1) is DENIED.
