ENTRY Concerning Selected Matters - The plaintiff's request to proceed in forma pauperis (dkt 2 ) is granted. The claim of excessive force against Jail Commander Myers in his individual capacity shall proceed, and all other claims are dismisse d. No partial final judgment shall issue at this time as to the claims resolved in this Entry. The clerk is designated, pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(c)(3), to issue and serve process on defendant Jail Commander Myers in the manner specified by Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(d)(1). The plaintiff's motion for service of process by the United States Marshals Service (dkt 5 ) is denied as unnecessary.
