October 2, 2018	Filing 17 Order - Denying Motion for Relief Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255 and Denying Certificate of Appealability. Carlos Ortiz cannot show that he is entitled to sentencing relief, and his motion for relief pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255 is therefo re denied. Judgment consistent with this Order shall now issue. The clerk is directed to docket a copy of this Order in 1:12-cr-00032- TWP-DKL. Additionally, the clerk is directed to terminate the motion for Section 2255 relief on the criminal dock et. Pursuant to Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure 22(b), Rule 11(a) of the Rules Governing § 2255 proceedings, and 28 U.S.C. § 2253(c), the court finds (1) that no reasonable jurists would find this court's "assessment of the constitutional claims debatable or wrong," and (2) that no reasonable jurists would find "it debatable whether the petition states a valid claim of the denial of a constitutional right."
