Filing 9 ENTRY GRANTING MOTION FOR LEAVE TO PROCEED IN FORMA PAUPERIS, SCREENING COMPLAINT, GRANTING IN PART MOTION FOR COURT ASSISTANCE, AND DIRECTING FURTHER PROCEEDINGS - This action is before the Court for resolution of Plaintiff Antaeus Anderson's motions for leave to proceed in forma pauperis, dkt. #6 , and for Court assistance, dkt. #5 ; for screening of his complaint pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915A(b); and to coordinate the issuance of process on the defendants. Mr. Anderson's motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis, dkt. #6 , is granted. All motions presented in the complaint are denied without prejudice and must be refiled separately as required by Local Rule 7-1. This action shall proceed with claims pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1983 that Defendants Kelly and Underwood violated Mr. Anderson's First Amendment rights to access the courts and make grievances about the conditions of his confinement. Because e the complaint does not assert viable claims against any other defendant, the clerk is directed to update the docket to reflect that Correctional Officer Kelly and Unit Team Manager Underwood are the only defendants in this action. Mr. Anderson's motion for Court assistance, dkt. #5 , asks the Court to mark several documents as filed in the Court and forward some of them to various individuals or entities. Mr. Anderson's motion for assistance, dkt. #5 , is granted to the extent discussed in Part IV of this Entry. The clerk is designated pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4(c)(3) to issue process to Defendants (1) Correctional Officer Kelly and (2) Unit Team Manager Underwood in the manner specified by Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4(d). Process shall consist of the complaint (dkt. #1 ), applicable forms (Notice of Lawsuit and Request for Waiver of Service of Summons and Waiver of Service of Summons), and this Order. (See Entry).
