| Filing 9 Entry Screening Complaint and Directing Further Proceedings - Applying the screening standard to the factual allegations in the complaint, the complaint must be dismissed. Mr. Gabbard names Dr. Person, Nurse Marissa Fisher, and Nurse Holley Calhoun as defendants but he does not directly state that these defendants were responsible for the alleged lack of treatment. The dismissal of the complaint will not in this instance lead to the dismissal of the action at present. Instead, the plaintiff shall have through December 17, 2018, in which to file an amended complaint. The clerk is directed to include a copy of the prisoner civil rights complaint form along with the plaintiff's copy of this Entry. Mr. Gabbard's motion to correct middle initial, dkt. #7 , is granted. The clerk shall amend the docket to show that the plaintiff's name is Brian K. Gabbard. (See Entry.)
