Filing 7 Entry Discussing Motion to Proceed, Dismissing Complaint, and Directing Plaintiffs to Show Cause - The plaintiff's motion to proceed on joint litigation and motion for reasonable access to courts, dkt #6 , is granted to the extent that this Court will now screen the plaintiffs' complaint. The motion is denied to the extent that it seeks the Court's review of the Hamilton County Jail's policies related to access to legal materials. Such claims are beyond the scope of this litigation and should be brought, if at all, in a separate complaint. The plaintiffs' complaint must be dismissed for each of the reasons set forth in the Entry. The plaintiffs shall have through April 4, 2019, in which to show cause why Judgment consistent with this Entry should not issue. (See Entry). Copies to Courtney Shawn Norris and Derek Anthony Anderson via U.S. mail. Signed by Judge James Patrick Hanlon on 3/12/2019.(JDH) |
