Filing 2 Entry and Order to Show Cause - The Court, having considered the above action and the matters which are pending, makes the following rulings: 1. The clerk shall forward a copy of this Entry to the United States Attorney for this District. The United States is notified of the filing of the petitioner's motion for relief and memorandum in support pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 2255. This material has been scanned into the Court's electronic docket. 2. Because the petitioner seeks modification of his sentence based on the recent decision in United States v. Davis, 139 S.Ct. 2319 (2019), and consistent with the General Order, the Indiana Federal Community Defenders Office, Inc. ("IFCD") is hereby appointed to represent the petitioner in this action. The IFCD shall have through September 17, 2019, in which to appear. 3. The United States shall have through October 15, 2019, in which to answer the allegations of the petitioner's motion for relief pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 2255, and the petitioner shall have twenty-eight (28) calendar days after service of the answer in which to reply.
