Filing 3 Order Directing Petitioner to Show Cause - Petitioner Jason Ramsey filed this 28 U.S.C. 2241 petition challenging his pretrial detention in Indiana state case 49G03-1903-F4-008395. Mr. Ramsey does not allege that he has exhausted his available state remedies, and review of the online docket in Indiana case 49G03-1903-F4-0083951 indicates he has not done so. Accordingly, he shall have through January 17, 2020, to show cause why his 2241 petition should not be dismissed for failure to exhaust. See Rule 4 of the Rules Governing 2254 Cases (applicable to 2241 petitions pursuant to Rule 1(b)). Failure to comply with this deadline may result in dismissal. The clerk is directed to replace "Jason Ramseg" with "Jason Ramsey" as the petitioner on the docket. (See Order). Copy to Jason Ramsey via U.S. mail.
