Filing 7 CLOSED JUDGMENT - FINAL JUDGMENT PURSUANT TO FED. R. CIV. P. 58 - For the reasons set forth in the Court's Order entered this day, the Court now enters FINAL JUDGMENT and DISMISSES Plaintiff's Complaint WITH PREJUDICE for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted. Filing 6 ENTRY - Plaintiff filed this matter on August 17, 2020, [Filing No. 1]. On August 20, 2020, the Court screened Plaintiff's Complaint pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(e)(2) and determined that the Complaint fails to state a claim on which relief can be granted. [Filing No. 5.] The Court directed Plaintiff to file an amended complaint on or before September 18, 2020 to address the noted deficiencies, and warned Plaintiff that this action would be dismissed if she failed to do so. Plaintiff neither filed an amended complaint by the September 18, 2020 deadline nor sought an extension of that deadline. Therefore, final judgment will now issue DISMISSING THIS ACTION WITH PREJUDICE for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted. Copy to Carla T. Bozzelli via U.S. mail. Signed by Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson on 10/1/2020.(JDH) |
