Filing 8 ORDER - Denying Motion for Leave to Proceed in Forma Pauperis as Moot, Screening and Dismissing Complaint, and Directing Plaintiff to Show Cause or File Amended Complaint; Mr. Hatton paid the full $400 filing fee on November 17, 2020. Dkt. 7. Therefore the motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis, dkt. #2 , is denied as moot. Mr. Hatton shall have through December 18, 2020, in which to either show cause why his complaint should not have been dismissed and instead allowed to proceed, or in the alternative file an amended complaint curing the deficiencies identified in this Order. If Mr. Hatton files an amended complaint, it should contain a short and plain statement showing entitlement to relief, by pleading facts which taken as true would state a claim for relief, and identifying specific individuals who acted or failed to act in regard to those facts. An amended complaint must be titled on its front page "Amended Complaint" and display this action's case number - 1:20-cv-02609-SEB-MPB. Because Mr. Hatton might benefit from using a form civil rights complaint, the clerk is directed to send Mr. Hatton such a form with his copy of this Order. If no response to this opportunity to Show Cause or file an Amended Complaint is made by December 18, 2020, this action will be dismissed and final judgment entered without further notice.
