The United States shall have to and including October 5, 2021, to file its response to the 2255 motion. The Court acknowledges that Mr. Onamuti appears to have filed a response in opposition to the United States motion for time and asks the Court to revisit his motion for bail if the request for time is denied. This response was submitted by a non-party via email to a temporary e-filing inbox. See General Order In the Matter of: Filing by Pro Se Litigants and Acceptance of Payments.1 Only an attorney may file papers on Mr. Onamuti's behalf. This means that Mr. Onamuti must file his own papers. Unless the Bureau of Prisons authorizes Mr. Onamuti to file his papers electronically from the prison, he must sign all of his pro se papers and submit them via U.S. Mail. The Clerk is directed to strike from the record all documents received via email purportedly submitted by Mr. Onamuti that are not from an official BOP email address. June 25, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 3 ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE - The clerk shall forward a copy of this Entry to the United States Attorney for this District. The United States is notified of the filing of the petitioner's motion for relief and memorandum in support pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 2255. 2. The United States shall have until August 5, 2021, in which to answer the allegations of the motion for relief pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 2255, and the petitioner shall have twenty-eight (28) calendar days after service of the answer in which to reply. 3. If the United States' answer refers to briefs, filings, or transcripts of the prior proceedings that are not available in the Court's electronic records, the United States is directed to furnish them along with its answer. See Rule 5(c) of the Rules Governing Section 2255 Proceedings.
