Order Directing Petitioner to Pay Filing Fee and Show Cause - Petitioner Lonnie James Clark's petition for writ of habeas corpus challenges his pretrial detention in Indiana state case 53C02-2108-F4-000611. Mr. Clark shall have through November 19, 2021, to either pay the $5.00 filing fee for this action or demonstrate his financial inability to do so. Mr. Clark's petition does not raise a speedy trial or double jeopardy claim, nor does it allege that he has exhausted his available state remedies. Accordingly, he shall have through November 19, 2021, to show cause why his 2241 petition should not be dismissed for failure to exhaust. See Rule 4 of the Rules Governing 2254 Cases (applicable to 2241 petitions pursuant to Rule 1(b)). Failure to comply with this deadline may result in dismissal.
