ORDER - Plaintiff's Motion for an Extension of Time, [Dkt. #7 ], to file an amended complaint in response to the Court's prior Order, [Dkt. 5], dismissing his Complaint under 28 U.S.C. 1915 is GRANTED. Plaintiff may file an amended complaint that addresses the issues identified in the Court's prior Order by no later than August 18, 2022. Plaintiff is further ORDERED not to include his social security number on future public filings. The CLERK is DIRECTED to seal Plaintiff's Motion, [Dkt. 7], because it contains Plaintiff's personal-identifying information, including his social security number. Copy to Plaintiff via US Mail. ENTRY GRANTING MOTION FOR LEAVE TO PROCEED IN FORMA PAUPERIS, SCREENING COMPLAINT, AND DIRECTING FURTHER PROCEEDINGS - Presently pending before the Court are pro se Plaintiff David Young's Complaint, [Filing No. #1 ], and Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis, [Filing No. #2 ]. This Entry addresses Mr. Young's motion, screens the Complaint pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(e)(2), and directs further proceedings. The Court, having considered the above action and the matters that are pending, makes the following rulings: 1. Mr. Young's Motion to Proceed In Forma Pauperis, #2 , is GRANTED. 2. Mr. Young's Complaint, #1 , is DISMISSED WITHOUT PREJUDICE. Mr. Young may file an Amended Complaint that addresses the issues outlined in this Order on or before July 21, 2022. The failure to file an Amended Complaint by that date will result in dismissal of this action. (See Order). Copies sent pursuant to distribution list.
