ENTRY GRANTING #2 MOTION TO PROCEED IN FORMA PAUPERIS, SCREENING AND ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE - Plaintiff's Request to Proceed in District Court Without Prepaying the Full Filing Fee (Filing No. #2 ) is GRANTED. Having screened the Complaint, the Court finds it is subject to dismissal for lack of jurisdiction. Plaintiff is granted leave to file an amended complaint by no later than Friday, December 2, 2022. ORDER - This matter comes before the Court on the Plaintiff's Motion for Court Order to Get Copy of Inmate Trust Account, Dkt. [ #8 ], requesting that the Court order Bartholomew County Sheriff Matthew Myers to provide the Court with a copy of Plaintiff's inmate trust account for the period June 1, 2022 to October 4, 2022. On October 13, 2022, Sheriff Myers provided the Court with a copy of Plaintiff's inmate trust account for the period June 1, 2022 to October 6, 2022. (Dkt. #9 ). ORDER DIRECTING PLAINTIFF'S CUSTODIAN TO PRODUCE CERTIFIED COPY OF PLAINTIFF'S SIX-MONTH TRUST ACCOUNT STATEMENT - This matter comes before the Court on pro se Plaintiff's Motion for Leave to Proceed in Forma Pauperis (Dkt. #2 ), which explains that Bartholomew County Jail will not provide a copy of the inmate trust account to the Plaintiff without a court order. Accordingly, the Court hereby ORDERS Plaintiff's custodian at Bartholomew County Jail to provide Plaintiff with a certified copy of his trust account statement or its institutional equivalent for the six-month period preceding the filing of this action on September 12, 2022, and to do so no later than Friday, October 21, 2022. Plaintiff shall then have until Friday, November 11, 2022, to respond to the Notice of Deficiency (Dkt. #6 ). The Clerk is DIRECTED to include a copy of the "Request to Proceed in District Court Without Prepaying the Filing Fee (Prisoner)" form along with the Plaintiff's copy of this Entry.
