ORDER DENYING MOTION FOR COURT ORDER - Plaintiff Demajio Ellis' motion for court order asks that the Court order the Indiana Department of Correction and staff at Correctional Industrial Facility ("CIF") to provide him with access to his tablet, his legal materials, and legal phone calls. Dkt. 8. The motion, dkt. [ #8 ], is denied. Mr. Ellis has been deprived of his tablet and legal materials due to a conduct report and subsequent sanctions. The appropriate route for Mr. Ellis to challenge his sanctions is through the disciplinary hearing appeal process at CIF and, if he suffered a grievance loss, by filing a petition for writ of habeas corpus. Finally, Mr. Ellis is proceeding pro se in this action, so there is no basis for the Court to order access to calls with an attorney. See Order for additional information.
