ORDER DISMISSING ACTION AND DIRECTING ENTRY OF FINAL JUDGMENT - Pro se Plaintiff Jean T. Ammons Harris filed this action on February 2, 2023. (Filing No. #1 .) On February 14, 2023, the Court screened Plaintiff's Complaint and found that it was subject to dismissal for failure to state a claim upon which relief may be granted. (Filing No. #7 .) The Court directed Plaintiff to file an Amended Complaint by March 9, 2023. The deadline has passed and Plaintiff has not responded. ENTRY GRANTING #2 MOTION TO PROCEED IN FORMA PAUPERIS, DENYING #3 PENDING MOTION, SCREENING COMPLAINT, AND ORDERING PLAINTIFF TO SHOW CAUSE - This matter is before the Court on Pro se Pro se Plaintiff Jean T. Ammons Harris's Request to Proceed in District Court Without Prepaying the Filing Fee (Filing No. [2)], and Motion for Trial (Filing No. [3)]. Harris filed this action on February 2, 2023 listing himself and Americas Daily Hustler Incorporated and Technology Companies Worth Investment Reliance as plaintiffs. As defendants, Plaintiff names Marion County, Indianapolis, Indiana, the State of Indiana, Irvington Police, and Sheriffs. (Filing No. #1 ). Plaintiff's Request to Proceed in District Court Without Prepaying the Filing Fee (Filing No. [2)] is GRANTED. Plaintiff's motion for trial (Filing No. [3)] is DENIED. Having screened the Complaint, the Court finds it is subject to dismissal for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted. Plaintiff is granted leave to file an amended complaint by no later than Thursday, March 9, 2023. If no amended complaint is filed by that date, this action will be dismissed for the reasons set forth above. (See Order). Copies sent pursuant to distribution list.
