Order Granting IFP, Denying Motion for Assistance with Recruiting Counsel, Screening Complaint, Denying Motion for Preliminary Injunction and Directing Service - Plaintiff's Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis, (ECF No. #2 ), is granted. Plaintiff's Motion for Preliminary Injunction, (ECF No. #3 ), and Motion for Assistance with Recruiting Counsel, (ECF No. #4 ), are denied without prejudice. This action will proceed with the McKinney-Vento claims for damages and for declaratory and injunctive relief against Jeanine Kleber, Jerilynne Boneff, and Ms. Knowlin. These are the only claims the Court has identified in the Complaint. If Simpson believes she has asserted other claims, she must notify the Court no later than October 25, 2023. The clerk is directed to issue process to Jeanine Kleber, Jerilynne Boneff, and Ms. Knowlin. Process will consist of the Complaint, (ECF No. #1 ), applicable forms (Notice of Lawsuit and Request for Waiver of Service of Summons and Waiver of Service of Summons), and this Order. (See Order.)
