| Filing 15 TEXT ONLY ENTRY - Since December 2021, numerous civil actions have been filed pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 1983 by various inmates at Pendleton Correctional Facility ("PCF") regarding allegedly unsafe water at that facility. This action is one of those. On September 11, 2023, the Magistrate Judge held Telephonic Status Conferences with counsel in Cause Nos. 1:21-cv-03120-JPH-KMB and 1:22-cv-00193-JPH-KMB, which are the first two filed actions making allegations about PCF's allegedly unsafe water. Counsel representing the Plaintiffs in those actions also represents the Plaintiff in this action. The Court has entered a Minute Entry from the conference and entered an Amended Case Management Plan in the aforementioned cause numbers, which also now govern this matter. ORDER on Motion to Proceed In Forma Pauperis - The plaintiff's motion to proceed in forma pauperis, dkt. [ #2 ], is granted to the extent that the plaintiff is assessed an initial partial filing fee of Six Dollars and Seventy-Three Cents ($6.73). See 28 U.S.C. 1915(b)(1). The plaintiff shall have through September 29, 2023, in which to pay this sum to the clerk of the district court. The plaintiff is informed that after the initial partial filing fee is paid, he will be obligated to make monthly payments of 20 percent of the preceding month's income each month that the amount in his account exceeds $10.00, until the full filing fee of $350.00 is paid. 28 U.S.C. 1915(b)(2). After the initial partial filing fee is received, a collection order will be issued to the plaintiff and the plaintiff's custodian, and the Court will screen the complaint in accordance with 28 U.S.C. 1915A.
