Filing 5 ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE (Disciplinary) - Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) inmate Nikolas Jordan petitions for a writ of habeas corpus challenging his conviction in a prison disciplinary case on April 28, 2023, for violation of law and battery against another offender. Dkt. #1 . Mr. Jordan's motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis, dkt. #2 , is denied as presented because it is incomplete. Mr. Jordan did not attach a copy of the transactions associated with his institution trust account for the sixth-month period preceding the filing of this action. Mr. Jordan must either renew his motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis by attaching his relevant trust account statement, or he must pay the $5.00 filing fee for this habeas action. Mr. Jordan shall have through February 16, 2024, to resolve the filing fee for this action. The custodian of petitioner is directed to answer the allegations of the petition for a writ of habeas corpus and in doing so shall show cause why the relief sought by the petitioner should not be granted.
