March 28, 2024 Opinion or Order Filing 5 ORDER - The Court ordered that Mr. Coatie would have through March 18, 2024 to pay the filing fee or demonstrate that he lacks the financial ability to do so by filing a Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis, and that his failure to do so could result in the dismissal of this case. The March 18, 2024 deadline has passed and, as of March 28, 2024, Mr. Coatie has not paid the filing fee or filed a Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis demonstrating that he lacks the financial ability to pay the filing fee, nor has he sought an extension of that deadline. February 26, 2024 Opinion or Order Filing 4 ORDER: The Court's review of the docket in this case indicates that pro se Plaintiff Devon Coatie has neither paid the $405 filing fee nor filed a Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis. Mr. Coatie shall have through March 18, 2024 in which to either: (1) pay the $405 filing fee for this action; or (2) demonstrate that he lacks the financial ability to do so by filing a Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis, indicating that he is unable to prepay the fee and stating his belief that he is entitled to redress. 28 U.S.C. 1915(a). Should Mr. Coatie file a Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis, he must use the form attached as an exhibit to this Order. A failure to either pay the $405 filing fee by March 18, 2024 or to file a Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis by that date may result in the dismissal of this action. See Order.
