Filing 30 Order Granting Defendants' Unopposed Motion for Summary Judgment and Directing Entry of Final Judgment - Plaintiff Todd Gosha brought this civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against defendants Dr. Mary Chavez and Nurse Regin a Robinson based on the allegation that he received inadequate treatment for his hernia and the defendants were deliberately indifferent to his serious medical needs. Dkt. No. 2 . Presently pending before the Court is defendants' motion for s ummary judgment. Mr. Gosha has not opposed the motion for summary judgment. Mr. Gosha has not identified a genuine issue of material fact as to his claims in this case and the defendants are entitled to judgment as a matter of law. Therefore, the defendants' motion for summary judgment, Dkt. No. 26 , is GRANTED. Judgment consistent with this Entry shall now issue. (See Order.) Signed by Judge William T. Lawrence on 10/15/2018. Filing 7 Entry Discussing Complaint and Directing Further Proceedings - Plaintiff Todd Gosha, an inmate at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility, brings this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 alleging that he has received constitutionally inadequat e medical care for a hernia. He seeks monetary and injunctive relief. Gosha's claim that he has received inadequate treatment for his hernia shall proceed as a claim of deliberate indifference to his serious medical needs in violation of the Eighth Amendment against Dr. Mary Chavez and Nurse Robinson. The claims against Corizon Healthcare and Director of Nursing are dismissed and they shall be terminated as defendants. The clerk is designated pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(c)(3) to issue process to defendants Chavez and Robinson in the manner specified by Rule 4(d). (See Entry.) Copies distributed pursuant to distribution list. Signed by Judge William T.
