September 4, 2019	Filing 67 Order on Summary Judgment Motion - Plaintiffs Sarah Johnson and Rebekah Johnson sue Defendants Northeast School Corporation and its North Central High School in Sullivan County, Indiana, alleging they subjected Plaintiffs to discrimination on the basis of sex in violation of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 ("Title IX"), 20 U.S.C. § 1681(a). While sexual harassment should not be tolerated in any environment and any sexual assault is to be condemned, NCHS is not a proper defendant in this action. Plaintiffs have come forward with insufficient evidence to hold the School Corporation liable under Title IX for any alleged sexual harassment of Sarah or Rebekah. Defendants' Motion for Summary Judgment (ECF No. 47 ) is granted. Final judgment will be entered separately. (See Order.) Signed by Judge James R. Sweeney II on 9/4/2019. (DMW)
