May 15, 2019 Opinion or Order Filing 5 Order Directing Further Proceedings - As best the Court can determine, there is no basis for the exercise of jurisdiction in this case and Hudson has failed to state a claim upon which relief can be granted. Merely being treated rudely, though lamentable, is not actionable in federal court. Therefore, his complaint must be dismissed. However, Hudson is allowed thirty days from the date of this order within which to file an amended complaint. Hudson has requested leave to proceed without prepaying the filing fee, but he has not provided sufficient information. He is allowed thirty days to supplement his motion to proceed in forma pauperis by showing that he lacks the financial ability to do so. The Clerk of Court is directed to provide Hudson with the attached form affidavit along with this order. (See Order.) Signed by Judge James R. Sweeney II on 5/15/2019. (Attachments: #1 Affidavit)(DMW)
