ENTRY DENYING MOTION FOR LEAVE TO PROCEED IN FORMA PAUPERIS, DISMISSING COMPLAINT, AND DIRECTING FURTHER PROCEEDINGS - Mr. Ashlock's motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis, dkt. #2 , is denied. At the time he filed the action, Mr. Ashlock had enough money in his inmate trust account to pay the whole filing fee. If Mr. Ashlock wishes to proceed with the action, he must pay the $402.00 filing fee no later than September 27, 2021. The complaint may not proceed in its current state. Therefore, it is dismissed for failure to state a claim upon which relief may be granted. Mr. Ashlock's motion requesting information on the status of the case, dkt. #5 , is granted insofar as the Court provides that information in this entry. (SEE ORDER.)
