December 20, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 8 Order to Show Cause, Granting #6 Motion to Compel for Judgment, and Granting #7 Motion Requesting Copy - The respondent shall have until January 24, 2022, in which to answer the allegations of the habeas petition, and in doing so shall show cause why the relief sought by the petitioner should not be granted. The petitioner shall have twenty-eight days after service of the answer in which to reply. The petitioner shall have through January 10, 2022, in which to either pay the $5.00 filing fee or demonstrate his financial inability to do so. The petitioner's motion to compel for judgment, dkt. #6 , is granted to the extent the Court will consider the information contained in the motion as a supplement to the petitioner's 2241 petition. The petitioner's motion requesting copy, dkt. #7 , is granted. The clerk is directed to include a copy of the docket sheet with the petitioner's copy of this Order.
