ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE - Mr. Mejia-Quintanilla's petition does not appear to be reviewable under the savings clause. A petitioner may pursue habeas relief through the savings clause only by making "a compelling showing that, as a practical matter, it would be impossible to use section 2255 to cure a fundamental problem. Review under the savings clause is available only if "there was something 'structurally inadequate or ineffective about section 2255 as a vehicle'" for the petitioner's arguments. Mr. Mejia-Quintanilla will have through June 29, 2023, to show cause why his petition should not be dismissed pursuant to Rule 4. Failure to respond to this order will result in this dismissal of this action without further warning. ***SEE ORDER*** (Copy to Petitioner via U.S. mail).
