Order on In Forma Pauperis Status - John Hawkins-El's motions to proceed in forma pauperis, dkts. #12 and #13 , are granted. Although the plaintiff is excused from pre-paying the full filing fee, he still must pay the three hundred and fifty dollar ($350.00) filing fee. The assessment of even an initial partial filing fee is waived because the plaintiff has no assets and no means by which to pay a partial filing fee. Mr. Hawkins-El's motion for copies, dkt. #14 , is granted. The clerk is directed to include copies of the complaint (dkt. #1 ) and all attachments to it with Mr. Hawkins-El's copy of this order. ORDER - John Hawkins-El's motion requesting copies of his filings, dkt. #10 , is denied. The Court previously explained that it will issue Mr. Hawkins-El copies of its orders, but he must maintain his own copies of documents he files. Dkt. #9 . If he wishes to receive file-stamped copies of his submissions, he must include an extra copy and a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage. S.D. Ind. L.R. 5-10(b). The clerk is directed to include a copy of the public docket sheet and a copy request form with Mr. Hawkins-El's copy of this order. If he wishes to obtain file-stamped copies of documents already filed, he may use the form to purchase copies. Mr. Hawkins-El will have through January 18, 2024, to pay the $405.00 filing fee or renew his motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis as previously directed. See dkt. 9.
