ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE (Disciplinary) The custodian of petitioner is directed to answer the allegations of the petition for a writ of habeas corpus and in doing so shall show cause why the relief sought by the petitioner should not be granted. The petitioner shall have through February 2, 2024, in which to either pay the $5.00 filing fee for this action or to demonstrate his financial inability to do so. Finally, the proper respondent in this habeas action is Warden Frank Vanihel because Mr. Diaz is currently in custody at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility. The clerk is directed to terminate Officer English, Officer Wadhan, Lt. E. Small, Officer V. Wolke, and Officer A. Adams from the docket. Show Cause Response due by 2/13/2024.
