ORDER SCREENING AND DISMISSING COMPLAINT AND DIRECTING PLAINTIFF TO SHOW CAUSE - The claims against Warden Vanihel and Lt. Yarber are dismissed for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted. Because the Court has been unable to identify a viable claim for relief against any defendant, the complaint is dismissed for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted. Mr. Tillotson shall have through April 17, 2026, in which to show cause why Judgment consistent with this Entry should not issue. ("Without at least an opportunity to amend or to respond to an order to show cause, an IFP applicant's case could be tossed out of court without giving the applicant any timely notice or opportunity to be heard to clarify, contest, or simply request leave to amend."). If Mr. Tillotson fails to timely respond to this Order to show cause, the case will be dismissed for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted, without further notice. (See Order.) Copy to Plaintiff via US mail. Signed by District Judge Justin R. Olson on 03/30/2026. (AJG)
