ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE (Disciplinary) - Larry Latham's petition for a writ of habeas corpus challenges his prison disciplinary conviction in disciplinary case number BTC 18-05-0049. On the Court's own motion, respondent is changed to "Warden, Branchville Correctional Facility." The facility itself is not a proper party, and a habeas corpus action must name the petitioner's custodian as respondent. Rule 2(a), Rules Governing Section 2254 Cases in the United States District Courts. The clerk is directed to make this change on the docket. The custodian of petitioner is directed to answer the allegations of the petition for a writ of habeas corpus and in doing so shall show cause why the relief sought by the petitioner should not be granted.
