Filing 4 ENTRY GRANTING MOTION TO PROCEED IN FORMA PAUPERIS, SCREENING COMPLAINT, AND DIRECTING SERVICE OF PROCESS - #2 Motion for Leave to Proceed in forma pauperis is GRANTED. The assessment of even an initial partial filing fee is waived because the plaintiff has no assets and no means by which to pay a partial filing fee. The Fourteenth Amendment claims for failure to provide medical treatment asserted against the three defendants shall proceed. To the extent Mr. Crawford asks the Court to order the ACLU to become involved in this case, his request is denied. These are the claims the Court discerns in the complaint. If the plaintiff believes that additional claims were alleged in the complaint but not identified by the Court, he shall have through July 26, 2019, in which to identify those claims. The clerk is directed pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(c)(3) to issue process to defendants Nurse Mike Pelayo, Sheriff Brent Miller, and Jail Commander Joey Richardson in the manner specified by Rule 4 (d). Process shall consist of the complaint filed on June 21, 2019 (docket 1), applicable forms (Notice of Lawsuit and Request for Waiver of Service of Summons and Waiver of Service of Summons), and this Entry. The clerk shall terminate from the docket Washington County Jail because it was inadvertently included as a defendant. See Entry for details.
