July 10, 2019 Opinion or Order Filing 5 AMENDED ORDER: (1) A copy of the petition for writ of habeas corpus (DE 1) shall be served by certified mail, return receipt requested, upon the following respondents: a) John Proctor, Jailer of Carroll County, Kentucky; b) John Carter, Special Prosecutor of Trimble County, Kentucky; and c) Andy Beshear, Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. (2) Respondents, by counsel, shall answer the petition within sixty (60) days from the date of service thereof (3) In accordance with Rule 5 of the Rules Governing Section 2254 Cases in the United States District Courts, the answer shall also include (see Order). (4) Any future documents submitted to the Clerk of Court in this case shall include the required certificate of service.
