Filing 8 SCHEDULING ORDER: 1) All discovery disputes are hereby REFERRED to a magistrate judge, to be assigned by random draw (Magistrate Judge Matthew A. Stinnett), for appropriate resolution. 2) The Court encourages early and economic case resolution including, where appropriate, by mediation. The parties SHALL immediately assess any potential for agreed resolution of the case and should continue to make that assessment as litigation continues. 3) Parties shall complete the initial disclosures required by Rule 26(a)(1) by 8/28/2019. 4) All motion to amend pleadings and join additional parties from Plaintiff due 11/18/2019 and by Defendant 12/18/2019. 5) Parties shall complete all discovery on or before 3/14/2020. 6) Expert witness shall be disclosed from Plaintiff on or before 1/20/2020 and by Defendant 2/10/2020. 7) All dispositive motions due 4/20/2020. 9) All motions for extensions of time or to modify this scheduling order shall be referred to the undersigned for disposition. The parties are advised in advance that such motions are disfavored and must be accompanied by a memorandum and affidavit of counsel outlining sufficient grounds, including citations to relevant legal authority, for granting the relief sought. 10) The scope of discovery and the parties' obligations in discovery are governed by the Federal Ruled of Civil Procedure. 11) Motion practice shall be governed by Local Rule 7.1 except as otherwise noted in this Order. 12) Pretrial Filings due on or before 6/22/2020. 13) At least 1 week before the final pretrial conference, counsel shall file the items contained within this Order. 14) FINAL PRETRIAL CONFERENCE set for 7/20/2020 at 11:00 AM in LEXINGTON before Judge Joseph M.
