ORDER FOR MEETING AND REPORT: ORDERED as follows: (1) NLT 30 days from the date of entry and service of this order, parties shall conduct meeting to discuss the possibilities for a settlement or resolution of the case; (2) At the time of the meeting, parties shall exchange disclosures required by Rule 26(a)(1); (3) NLT 10 days after the meeting, parties shall file a joint report outlining the proposed discovery plan. In proposing deadlines, parties should contemplate a trial date w/in 12 months or fewer. The parties' report shall include: a) parties' views and proposals; b) parties' estimate of time necessary to join other parties and to amend the pleadings; c) length of time necessary to file motions; d) length of time necessary to complete all pretrial discovery, including expert witness discovery; e) length of time necessary for the parties to make expert disclosures; f) probably length of trial; g) dates mutually convenient for trial; h) whether the parties desire a scheduling conference before entry of a scheduling order; and i) decision as to whether the action may be referred to a US Magistrate Judge.
