March 9, 2020 Opinion or Order Filing 8 SCHEDULING ORDER: (1) Within 10 days, parties shall exchange Rule 26(a)(1) information. (2) NLT 7/31/2020, plaintiff expert witness due. NLT 8/31/2020, defendant expert witness due. (3) Supplementation due within 30 days of discovery and NLT 30 days prior to close. (4) NLT 11/9/2020, discovery due. (5) All discovery disputes are referred to the United States Magistrate selected by random draw (Judge Matthew A. Stinnett). (6) All motions for extensions of time shall be referred to the undersigned for disposition. The parties are advised in advance that such motions are not favored and must be accompanied by a memorandum and affidavit of counsel outlining sufficient grounds for granting the relief sought. (7) Parties may not, by agreement, extend any of the deadlines. (8) NLT 4/30/2020, motions to amend and/or join additional parties due. (9) NLT 12/9/2020, dispositive motions and daubert motions due. (10) On or before 3/8/2021 pretrial filings due. (11) Counsel shall pre-mark and number all exhibits by 3/8/2021. (12) On or before 3/15/2021, Proposed Agreed Jury Instructions due. (13) Objections due 3/15/2021. (14) Pretrial filing may be submitted to reeves_chambers@kyed.uscourts.gov. (15) NLT 3/15/2021, parties shall submit to the Court's chambers a copy of each exhibit. (16) JURY TRIAL set for 3/30/2021 at 09:00 AM in LEXINGTON before Judge Danny C. Reeves, counsel to be present at 8:30 a.m. (17) The parties are directed to file a joint status report the first Monday of each month. The parties are directed to advise the Court of the expected length of trial in their first joint status report. Failure to timely comply with this requirement shall result in the matter being set for a status conference, requiring the attendance of counsel and the parties.
