ORDER re #1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus filed by James Odis Sowell, Jr.: 1. The Clerk of the Court shall send a copy of Sowells petition [R. 1] and this Order by certified mail to Respondent Warden J.A. Barnhart, the Attorney General for the United States, and the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky. 2. Respondent shall file a response to the petition within 60 days. 3. Sowell may file a reply in further support of his petition within 30 days after theRespondent files his response. The petition will stand submitted for further review and decision at that time. 4. Sowell must keep the Clerk of the Court informed of his current mailing address.Failure to notify the Clerk of any address change may result in a dismissal of this case. 5. Sowell must send a copy of every document he files with the Court to the Respondent or its attorney. 6. Sowell must only communicate with the Court through notices or motions filed with the Court.
