January 4, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 11 ORDER: Self-represented Plaintiff Catherine Ann Kramer filed this employment discrimination action on November 16, 2020. Doc. 1. On the same date, Plaintiff filed a Motion to Proceed In Forma Pauperis in this matter, which is still pending before the Court. Doc. 2. However, Defendant Henry Industries, Inc. filed an Answer to Plaintiffs Complaint on December 11, 2020, and both parties filed a Joint Scheduling Plan on December 30, 2020. Docs. 6, 9. Under 28 U.S.C. 1915(e)(2), the Court is required to conduct an initial review of any complaint filed in forma pauperis and dismiss it if it is frivolous, malicious, or fails to state a claim upon which relief can be granted. As such, the parties should not expect the Court to issue a Case Management Order in this case until such review is complete and the Court has determined whether such action is appropriate.
