ORDER. This matter is before the Court on review of the record. Defendant Anil Patel was served with summons and the complaint on December 30, 2021. [ECF No. #7 ] Defendant's answer or other response to the complaint was due on January 20, 2022. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 12. Defendant has not filed an answer or other response to the complaint and is, therefore, in default. See id. and Fed. R. Civ. P. 55. Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that within fourteen (14) days of the date of this Order, Plaintiff shall file appropriate materials for entry of default by the Clerk and for entry of default judgment, including all necessary affidavits and documentation, as well as proposed orders and a brief providing authority for entry of default at this stage of the case. Failure to comply with this Order may result in the dismissal without prejudice of Plaintiff's claims against Defendant Anil Patel. (Response to Court due by 2/8/2022.)
