The Court and Counsel discuss the issues raised in the Joint Status Report, beginning with Counsels' Electronically Stored Information (E.S.I.) protocol. IT IS ORDERED: Clark County Defendants shall produce the first wave of E.S.I. no later than 11/27/2013 unless good cause is shown why they cannot meet that deadline. The parties next address the Rule 30(b)(6) matters, and Plaintiff's Counsel agrees to provide Defense Counsel with additional records to assist in locating a Rule 30(b)(6) designee for the topics discussed. The Court and Counsel next discuss and clarify generic "medical care" topics. The parties next discuss issues concerning placement information. The parties agree to confer further, and the Court expects Clark County to produce a Rule 30(b)(6) designee on this matter as discussed in open court. The Court next raises the issue of the licensing files. Clark County is in the process of collecting these files. The Court directs that Clark County should prioritize their efforts to collect all the files for one child at a time, make those files available for inspection and copying, and then notify Plaintiff's Counsel who can review the entirety of the files and determine what is relevant or not. Plaintiffs would then pay for the costs of reproduction at a reasonable litigation rate. IT IS ORDERED: Clark County shall have until 11/27/2013 to have files ready for inspection and copying for the first child. Counsel next state their respective positions concerning an extension of the discovery deadlines. The Court will continue these proceedings. Status Conference set for 12/10/2013 @ 08:45 AM in LV Courtroom 3B before Magistrate Judge Peggy A. Leen. This will allow the parties to make progess with the E.S.I., depositions, and licensing file inspection.
