SCREENING ORDER - A decision on the IFP application (ECF No. #1 ) is deferred. Clerk is directed to file the complaint (ECF No. #1 - 1) and send Plaintiff a courtesy copy. (Copy attached hereto for distribution to P via NNCC law library.) C/O Hunt will be included in this action as a defendant. The Clerk of the Court will add Hunt to the docket sheet as a defendant. The Eighth Amendment claim for deliberate indifference to serious medical needs will proceed against Defendants Dr. Adamson, Wade, C/O Hunt, Minev, Jones, and Baker. The motion for appointment of counsel (ECF No. #1 -2) is denied without prejudice. This action stayed 90 days to permit parties to settle. If the case does not settle, Plaintiff will be required to pay the full statutory filing fee. 90 day report due by 3/8/2023. Clerk is directed to add NDOC to docket as Interested Party, and E-serve AG this order and a copy of the Complaint, by adding AG to docket. (E-service 12/8/2022; Complaint upon subsequent filing.) AG must advise by 12/29/2022 re appearance for for the purpose of participation in the Early Mediation Program. Signed by District Judge Anne R. Traum on 12/7/2022.
