Text of Order: Petitioner John Jay Powers has filed a Motion for Order to Show Cause (Doc. No. 2). The court construes the filing as a motion to addend his petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed under 28 U.S.C. 2241 (Doc. No. 1). So construed, the motion is GRANTED and Document No. 2 will be considered as a Petition Addendum for all purposes; any other relief requested in the motion is DENIED, without prejudice to Mr. Powers's ability to seeks such relief after the court conducts preliminary review in this matter pursuant to Rule 4 of the Rules Governing 2254 Cases ( 2254 Rules), 2254 Rule 1(b) (allowing application of 2254 Rules to habeas petitions not field under 2254), and LR 4.3(d)(4).
