| ENDORSED ORDER denying without prejudice #46 Motion for Alternative Service. Text of Order: The plaintiffs seek an order ratifying their irregular effort to serve defendant Steve Kramer by emailing him a copy of the summons, complaint and notice of service after failing repeatedly to serve him in accordance with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4(e). Alternatively, the plaintiffs seek an order allowing them to effect service on Mr. Kramer via "any additional, alternative, or further service, including, but not limited to service by publication[.]" It is unclear at this point whether Mr. Kramer is attempting to evade service or whether, as Mr. Kramer stated during a telephone call with a process server, he is currently in Europe and not expected to return to the United States until May 13, 2024.
