TRANSFER ORDER: The Court consolidates the Complaints solely for the purpose of this Transfer Order. The Eastern District of New York is not the proper venue for either of these actions. The events giving rise to the claims occurred in New Jersey, certain Defendants are federal judges in New Jersey, and both cases concern civil actions in New Jersey. Accordingly, the Court concludes that venue is not proper in the Eastern District of New York. Accordingly, the Court directs the Clerk of Court to transfer these actions to the District of New Jersey. 28 U.S.C. 1406(a). The Court offers no opinion on the merits of these actions and declines to decide Plaintiff's pending IFP applications, which are reserved for the transferee court. The Court waives the provision of Local Rule 83.1, which requires a seven-day stay. No summons shall issue from this Court. The Clerk of Court is directed to close these cases. SO ORDERED by Judge Margo K. Brodie, on 11/7/2018. C/mailed. Case transferred electronically to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey via CM/ECF Extract Civil Case.
