TEXT ORDER: The notice of removal filed on August 2, 2021 by defendant Maurice Oparaji (Notice) (ECF No. #1 ) indicates that the Court has jurisdiction over this matter pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1332 "on the basis of diversity jurisdiction." (Id. p. 9.) However, the Notice indicates that plaintiffs MAR Acquisition Group, LLC (MAR) and TAG Development, LLC (TAG) have their principal places of business located in New Jersey, and that defendant Me & You Biotech Inc. is incorporated in New Jersey. (Id. pp. 3, 4, 10.) Furthermore, to the extent MAR and TAG are limited liability companies, the names and citizenship of each member of MAR and TAG must be specifically pleaded or otherwise identified. Accordingly, MAR and TAG are directed to file declarations setting forth their respective organizational structures, along with their citizenship, in accordance with either 28 U.S.C. 1332(c)(1) if they are corporations, or the standing # order concerning unincorporated business organizations if they are unincorporated, by Monday, August 23, 2021. Defendant Oparaji will also file a declaration demonstrating his citizenship, as opposed to his residency, by Monday, August 23, 2021. Additionally, if plaintiffs believe this matter has been removed contrary to the forum-defendant rule of 28 U.S.C. 1441(b)(2), plaintiffs should object by formal motion in accordance with 28 U.S.C. 1447(c) by September 1, 2021.
