Defendants also have not paid the necessary filing fee or otherwise sought leave to proceed in forma pauperis. The Court ordered Defendants to file a letter setting forth the basis of federal jurisdiction in this action by August 11, 2023. The Court has not received any such letter from Defendants. Defendants shall comply with the Courts August 3, 2023 text order (ECF No. 4) and file a letter setting forth the basis of federal jurisdiction in this action by no later than September 20, 2023.
