Filing 7 SUMMONS ISSUED as to Green Dot Bank, IRS, Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, Tax Product Group, United States Attorney's Office/EDNY (NOTICE ONLY), United States Attorney General (NOTICE ONLY). (LC) |
Filing 6 ORDER: Before the Court is the application to proceed in forma pauperis ("IFP") filed by pro se plaintiff Tyrone Hudson ("Plaintiff"). (ECF No. #2 .) Upon review of the declarations accompanying Plaintiffs IFP application, the Court finds that Plaintiff's financial status qualifies him to commence this action without prepayment of the filing fee. See 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(1). Accordingly, Plaintiff's IFP application is GRANTED. In addition, the Court ORDERS service of the summonses and complaint upon the defendants by the United States Marshal Service ("USMS") forthwith. The Court certifies pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(3) that any appeal from this Order would not be taken in good faith and therefore IFP status is denied for the purpose of any appeal. See Coppedge v. United States, 369 U.S. 438, 44445 (1962). The Clerk of Court is respectfully directed to mail a copy of this Order to Plaintiff at his address of record and note such mailing on the docket. SEE ATTACHED ORDER for details. So Ordered by Judge Joan M. Azrack on 11/29/2022. c/m, c/ecf pro se plaintiff (LC) |
